Neal and Elaine Whitman, American Poet and Photographer

Neal and Elaine Whitman both write haiku and, at times, like to collaborate and write haiku jointly, as with this four seasons set. Also, they enjoy combining Elaine’s photography with Neal’s haiku, as with this haiga. This is their labor of love.

Featured Poetry of Neal and Elaine Whitman

summer

rippling
the neap tide
sea of sagewort

fall

What the…
splash and ripple
Was that a turtle?

winter

tide’s edge
sanderlings gather
eating on the run

spring

one pair of binocs
my turn to look
nesting plovers
