Roadblocks

Roadblocks

Our journey in life is long;
full of detours and roadblocks;
illness and disappointment.

A boulder prevents us from
moving forward on the path;
ice and snow block our feet.

But hope keeps us moving on,
inspite of everything wrong.

The journey on life’s road
is full of mountains, valleys,
summits and peaks.

But the edict is we cannot
stay too long in one place.
We have to learn and grow.
