Bloom Like A Cherry Plum

Bloom Like A Cherry Plum

Today, and in the days of life to come,
oh, stray not from the Church of Christ, so true;
be the cheerful children of my wisdom.

Here I am thinking of you, my old chum,
in the perfume bough of spring Mountain View
today, and in the days of life to come.

We were then, as we are now, you’re my lamb,
that on your special moment I wish you–
be the cheerful children of my wisdom.

The faithful is never a hopeless glum,
withdrawing from the life of so much hue.
Today, and in the days of life to come,

do not be like little grass frogs on some…
deaden leaves, but grow like a chosen you,
be the cheerful children of my wisdom.

Ah, dear Brethren, bloom like a cherry plum,
ever shining light of our Mountain View.
Today, and in the days of life to come,
be the cheerful children of my wisdom.
